Community Centre Construction Update

April 2024 Highlights

• Structural steel erection is complete and interior wall framing has further developed.
• Preparation for the ground floor level and lower lobby floor level concrete pours is nearing completion, while the second floor level has been completed.
• Further progress was also seen with mechanical, plumbing, electrical rough-ins and fire protection services throughout the new addition.
• Within the existing Women’s Change Room and Men’s Change Room, new plumbing work and electrical rough-ins have further progressed. Within the existing Kinsen Pool, the new deck drains are set in place and the accessible ramp has been poured in place.
• Construction of the low, mid and high parapets is complete, installation of the low roof assembly has begun, and exterior wall assembly construction is continuing.
