Public Notice: Community Improvement Plan Update
The Town of Tillsonburg has initiated an update to the 2017 Community Improvement Plan program. Details of the proposed changes are available at www.tillsonburg.ca/cipupdate
Town of Tillsonburg Council will hold a formal public meeting under Sections 17(15(d)) and 28(4) of the Planning Act to consider the proposed Community Improvement Plan on:
Date: February 26, 2024
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Town Council Chambers
4 Elm St (LPRCA Building)
Comments may be sent in writing or presented in person at the meeting.
At the public meeting, Council may approve, modify or refuse to enact the proposed plan. If you do not attend or are not represented at the meeting, Council may proceed and may not advise you of any proposed modifications. If the amendment to the Community Improvement Plan is approved, notice of passing will be mailed or published in a local newspaper. Additional information relating to the proposed Community Improvement Plan amendment will be available for inspection between 8:30 and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, at the Town of Tillsonburg Customer Service Centre (10 Lisgar Ave).

Volunteer Achievement Awards
The Tillsonburg Volunteer Achievement Awards recognize individuals who make significant, sustained contributions to the community as a volunteer. Volunteer Achievement Awards are given for unpaid contributions in the following four categories:
- Sports, recreation and education
- Arts, culture and heritage
- Seniors and youth
- Civic
Nominations can be submitted at any time. Four recipients will be selected each year.
The Cultural, Heritage and Special Awards Advisory Committee will review all nominations. Visit www.tillsonburg.ca/volunteeraward to learn more about the award criteria and submit your nomination.
Property Tax Due Dates
Attention all property owners in the Town of Tillsonburg. 2024 Interim Property Tax payments are due:

Names shortlisted for new Northcrest subdivision parks
The Town of Tillsonburg has narrowed down the list of names under consideration for two new parks in the Northcrest subdivision. The following names are now being presented to the public for comment:

- Perry Gosso Park
- Weston Family Park
