Large Item Collection Program
Large Item Collection in Tillsonburg is continuing and will run until July 4. The Town has been divided up into three collection zones. Visit www.tillsonburg.ca/largeitem to view a map to find out when collection will take place in your neighbourhood.
- Only items weighing less than 45 kg (100 lbs) will be collected.
- No glass, mirror or automotive parts acepted
- Items that can fit in a garbage bag are not eligible
How to prepare your items:
- Set out by 7:00 a.m. on the Monday (including statutory holidays) of your collection week. Late set outs may not be collected.
- Place no more than one metre from curb
Items must be visible
Any items that are not eligible for collection will be left behind. Ineligible items that are not disposed of properly will be considered illegal dumping under Bylaw 3105.
Watering Restrictions now in effect
Oxford County By-law No. 4193-2002 permits outdoor water use (by hose or attachment) every other day to ensure an adequate water supply for all residents (May 1 - September 30). Learn more at www.oxfordcounty.ca/waterconservation

2026 Budget Survey
The 2026 Budget survey is now open! Have your say on which services should be a priority in the coming budget year.
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and information collected will help provide a better understanding of how well municipal services are understood, how they are valued, and which ones are a priority for residents.

Temporary Closure of Indoor Pool
The indoor pool at the Tillsonburg Community Centre will be closed to the public from June 30-July 6 for mechanical and equipment upgrades. Planned work includes installing new ladders and lifeguard chairs, replacing select valves and filters, and lowering water levels to permit an intensive cleaning of the upper tiles and gutter area. Canada Day Fun Fair & Fireworks
Save the date! The Town of Tillsonburg will celebrate Canada Day (July 1) with a Fun Fair at Annandale NHS (11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) and fireworks in Memorial Park beginning at dusk.
Tillsonburg 1825 Exhibit
Come learn about the history of earliest Tillsonburg (aka Dereham Forge) in a new exhibit at Annandale National Historic Site (30 Tillson Ave.) called “Tillsonburg 1825.”
Exhibit runs June 14-September 28
Museum Camp Programs
Each week (Monday-Friday) offers a fun and engaging opportunity for kids (ages 7-12) to explore a different theme through games, crafts, activities, and more.
Camps run 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

VIBE Youth Drop-In Program
VIBE, a youth drop-in program for ages 14-18, runs Thursdays, 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the library (2 Library Lane).
There will be a mix of free time and optional structured programs every week. Plus FREE snacks/meals!
Funding for VIBE has been generously provided by Oxford Community Foundation, in partnership with the Town of Tillsonburg.
