Holiday Hours
Please note the following facilities will be closed in observance of Victoria Day on May 22.

Annandale National Historic Site (30 Tillson Ave) will be closed from May 20 to May 22.
Watermain Flushing
The Town of Tillsonburg is continuing its spring water system maintenance program.
April 13- May 31
Directional flushing of watermains in all areas south of North Street and east of Tillson Avenue/Vienna Road.
Flushing will begin each morning at 8:00 a.m. and conclude by 3:00 p.m. Residents may notice some cloudy or discoloured water when watermain flushing occurs. These temporary side effects are not hazardous to the public and can be resolved by turning on the cold water taps to clear the system. If discolouring continues beyond a three-day period, please contact Customer Service at 519.688.3009.
New parking regulation
Visiting the Tillsonburg Town Centre? Please be advised that parking in the north lot (CIBC and LCBO entrance) is now limited to two hours. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Fireworks By-Law 4293
To minimize the risk of property damage, fire and serious injury, Tillsonburg Fire & Rescue Services does not encourage backyard fireworks displays. Fireworks are safest when handled by qualified fireworks experts at public events. However, if you choose to have a backyard or family display in the Town of Tillsonburg, you must comply with By-Law 4293. Please note that only consumer-grade, low-hazard fireworks (Canadian class 7.2.1/F.1) are appropriate for home/personal use.
Fireworks SHOULD NEVER be discharged:
- After 11:00 p.m.
- On Town-owned property including streets, sidewalks, parks and fields
- On property that does not belong to you without written permission from the owner
- From the roof of any building
- Inside buildings, structures or vehicles
- By persons under 18 years of age
Fireworks are allowed only to be discharged in conjunction with Victoria Day, on the actual holiday, or two days before or after this date.

Notice of Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. (THI) Annual General Meeting
TAKE NOTICE that the annual meeting (the “Meeting”) of the holders of common shares of Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. (the “Corporation”) will be held on Tuesday, June 27 at 12:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers (200 Broadway, Second Floor), for the following purposes:
a) Consideration and approval of the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. of June 28, 2022; and
b) To receive the audited financial statements of Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. for the year ended December 31, 2022, together with the report of the auditor thereon; and
c) To appoint an auditor of Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. for the ensuing year; and
d) Election of the Directors of Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. Board of Directors; and
e) To appoint Legal Counsel for Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. for the ensuing year; and
f) To consider such other matters as may properly come before the Meeting.

Animal Control By-Law
All residents are reminded that the Town’s Animal Control By-Law 2021-013 provides for the licensing, regulation, and control of animals within the Town of Tillsonburg.
Chickens are prohibited under Schedule A of the Animal Control By-law 2021-013.
Dog owners also have responsibilities under the By-Law. Dogs must be kept leashed unless on your own private property or inside the dog park. Failing to keep a pet from running at large can result in fines exceeding $200.
