Programs for Children

Annandale NHS offers interactive camps and classes that help children explore history and culture. We also offer presentations and workshops suitable for school and community groups.

Enjoy a fully guided, in-depth tour of Annandale House. Tours can be tailored to meet a wide range of curriculum needs. Explore topics such as the aesthetic art movement, life in Victorian times, sustainability and genealogy.

Eco-Explorers: March Break at the Museum

“Eco-Explorers: March Break at the Museum” is a celebration of the different eco-systems that make Earth special! Each day we will be celebrating different eco-system. All materials and supplies are provided. Preregistration is required.

Makers’ Workshop: Pottery Workshop;

Come join potter Penni Stoddart and learn about pottery and make your own Pinch Pot Pottery Creatures. All materials and supplies are provided. Preregistration is required.

LUNCH & LEARN LECTURE SERIES (Prices Might change depending on Council)

A four-part series of catered lunches and interesting lectures on local history.  Lunch is served at noon with the lecture following. Admission to tour the museum is included in the ticket price.  Single tickets or a series pass for all 4 Lunch & Learn programs is available.  Preregistration is required.

Come and listen to local Author C.J. Frederick talk about what life was like in rural Ontario at the turn of the 20th century. After her speech, C.J. will also be selling her historical fiction, “Rooted and Remembered: A Novel.” All are Welcome!
